EPM participated on over 20 assignments under Contract PSC-00-2608, 19 assignments under Contract PSC-04-2711, and has completed over 50 assignments to date under the current contract, PSC-07-2815A. EPM has worked at every one of the nine MTA Bridges and Tunnels facilities.
Typical assignments have included:
- Investigation, remediation design, and abatement oversight during roof replacement at the Verrazano Service building and Toll Booth Canopies
- Investigation, remediation design, and abatement oversight during remediation of metal- and PCB-contaminated dust throughout tunnel ventilation buildings
- Investigation, remediation design, and abatement oversight, in connection with demolition of toll booths, at the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel and Triborough Bridge
- Asbestos investigations, abatement oversight and/or air monitoring in various rooms of service, ventilation & administration sections located at the Queens Midtown Tunnel, and in association with tunnel lighting work
Most notably as TBTA’s consultant, EPM prepared their System Wide Blanket Variances. EPM secured these variances for the abatement of all of their non-friable materials on exterior projects under one variance, and interior projects on another.
